Meet your instructor, Jake Carr
Jake Carr has a bachelor's Degrees in Theatre and Psychology from Miami University of Ohio. He worked as a theatre and commercial actor in Chicago, performing everything from sketch comedy to gritty gritty contemporary dramas, educational theatre, and puppetry. He trained at Black Box Acting's Academy conservatory program, later becoming a Black Box instructor and private audition coach. Jake loves using his extensive experience on both sides of the casting table to help demystify the intimidating audition process. Since moving to Whitefish in 2021, Jake has directed Church and State, Silent Sky, and Holmes for the Holidays and Wait Until Dark with Whitefish Theatre Company.
