She is now thrilled to be part of the community that keeps the arts alive in Whitefish by serving as the WTC Development Director from 2013-2019 and the Executive Director from

2020 to the present. In her past life, Jen worked as a botanist for Glacier National Park from 1993-2019, using her degrees in Environmental Science from Wesleyan University and Plant Ecology from Duke University. She will continue to find time to smell the flowers but is delighted to put her science brain to use in the world of the arts! Jen is especially thankful for her husband Richard and sons Gabe and Sam who let her pursue all her passions.

He then moved to Montreal where he studied theatre production and design for 3 years before entering the real world working as a call technician and lighting designer in Montreal and becoming the Technical Director for the Hudson Village Theatre, a small theatre just off the island of Montreal. All this mostly prepared him for moving to Montana, where the mountains are very large and theatre is going strong.

She graduated from the University of Montana in 2011 with a BFA in Costume Design & Technology, followed by a costume construction apprenticeship at BalletMet in Columbus, OH. Since then, her handiwork as both a costume technician and as a designer has been seen on the stages of Fort Peck Summer Theatre, Coeur d’Alene Summer Theatre, Bigfork Summer Playhouse, and in the 2019 tour of the Missoula-based Dirty Sexy Chocolate Show. Sarah permanently joined the WTC staff in 2018, designing and creating costumes for all mainstage shows including her favorites Mamma Mia!, Alice In Wonderland, The Great Gatsby, Urinetown, Into The Woods, Elf The Musical, The Revolutionists, Sense and Sensibility, Sweeney Todd, Murder On The Orient Express, and Suite Surrender.
